On this tour you will get to travel on one of the world’s best scenic drives; The Great Ocean Road, and hike through the magnificent mountain ranges of the Grampians National park as you make your way to Adelaide.
The Great Ocean Road winds over 200kms of spectacular coastline with incredible ocean views. You will explore an ancient rainforest, spot wild koalas and travel through rolling hills as you make your way to the breathtaking 12 Apostles. At the end of the Great Ocean Road you will head inland to Halls Gap.
Overnight at the Grampians.
Start the morning with a walk to get your blood pumping in Victoria's best hiking destination, Grampians National Park. Keep an eye out and with any luck you will spot some of the unique Australian wildlife that call this area home. Visit the Brambuk Aboriginal Cultural Centre to learn about the local indigenous history. Then spend the afternoon in the great outdoors exploring spectacular lookouts and waterfalls As the day comes to an end, you continue onto Adelaide.
What you need to bring: Water, hat, sunscreen, comfortable walking shoes, warm and cool clothing, flashlight, toiletries, rain jacket, camera, towel, insect repellent, spending money and a sense of adventure
Adding on the helicopter flight may reduce your viewing time at the 12 Apostles main lookout

YHA Travel Package Cancellations:
Cancellation within 7 days of departure will result in a 50% loss of the ticket price; cancellation or transfer within 48 hours of departure will result in full fare forfeiture.
Cancellation within 48 hours prior to commencement or no shows will incur 100% cancellation fee, meaning no refund.
Refunds are not available on unused portions of tour packages.
Bookings can only be amended more than 7 days prior to commencement.
Amendments within 48 hours of commencement will be treated as a cancellation, and you will need to make a new booking.
Each amendment (not cancellation) after confirmation will incur a fee of A$25 per person per amendment, in addition to any fees imposed by the tour operator.
-If you are not already a member of YHA Australia, membership will be included as part as your first night’s stay if your tour includes accommodation.
- If you are an Australian resident, your membership is valid for 2 years from the month that you stay at your first YHA hostel in Australia. Your membership will renew automatically, unless you have not stayed in a YHA hostel in the past 24 months and have unsubscribed from all electronic communications.
- If you are not an Australian resident, your membership is valid for 2 years from the month that you stay at your first YHA hostel in Australia.
Cancellations and Amendments
If you need to cancel or amend your booking after we have confirmed, please notify us immediately by email. You can find the email contact details on your booking confirmation. If you cancel or amend your booking after we have confirmed or fail to arrive on the nominated day, we will charge you the fees outlined below:
