Head to Phillip Island for a day of stunning landscapes and iconic wildlife. Along the way you will stop at an Australian Wildlife park to get up close and personal with animals including Koalas, Emus, Wombats and Tasmanian devils. You will even get the chance to hand feed the Kangaroos!
At the Nobbies Discovery Centre you will explore the spectacular coastline of the Island from the boardwalks set amongst natural sea bird habitat and look out to Seal Rocks home to the largest colony of Australian Fur Seals. While there, take some time to immerse yourself in the World Wildlife Fund’s interactive Antarctic Journey, a fun and educational virtual world of discovery.
It is then time to head to the world famous Penguin Parade. As the sun sets, watch hundreds of little penguins make their way across the beach and back to their burrows after a long day at sea.
What you need to bring: Appropriate clothing for warm and cold conditions, a small blanket/scarf and beanie can be a good idea for the Penguin Parade in winter as it gets cold on the beach, sunscreen, water bottle and hat.
Photography is not permitted at the penguin parade.
