Laugh, cry and cheer as you hear the amazing story of Mr Smith, your personal guide. He will take you on his 'rages of riches' story back in time, from the squalid, seedy streets of London to becoming one of the goldfields most successful gentlemen. Venture deep underground on a guide mine tour and imagine what it must have been like working deep beneath the earths' surface day in and day out. At the completion of your guided tour relax with a refreshing beer or wine at the United State Hotel.
End the day with a stop in Daylesford to pop into one of their renowned art galleries or grab a coffee at one of the cafes. Visit Victoria`s highest single-drop waterfall formed some five million years ago Trentham Falls before making the trip back to Melbourne. (Seasonal)

YHA Travel Package Cancellations:
Cancellations within 72 - 48 hours of tour departure will incur a 50% loss of the ticket price.
Cancellation within 48 hours prior to commencement or no shows will incur 100% cancellation fee, meaning no refund.
Refunds are not available on unused portions of tour packages.
Bookings can only be amended more than 7 days prior to commencement.
Amendments within 48 hours of commencement will be treated as a cancellation, and you will need to make a new booking.
Each amendment (not cancellation) after confirmation will incur a fee of A$25 per person per amendment, in addition to any fees imposed by the tour operator.
-If you are not already a member of YHA Australia, membership will be included as part as your first night’s stay if your tour includes accommodation.
- If you are an Australian resident, your membership is valid for 2 years from the month that you stay at your first YHA hostel in Australia. Your membership will renew automatically, unless you have not stayed in a YHA hostel in the past 24 months and have unsubscribed from all electronic communications.
- If you are not an Australian resident, your membership is valid for 2 years from the month that you stay at your first YHA hostel in Australia.
Cancellations and Amendments
If you need to cancel or amend your booking after we have confirmed, please notify us immediately by email or fax. On the booking confirmation print-out, you can find the email contact details. If you cancel or amend your booking after we have confirmed or fail to arrive on the nominated day, we will charge you the fees outlined in the specific product conditions.
We strongly advise you purchase adequate travel insurance to safeguard against any losses.
