    • Please stock up on items at the local Coles/Woolwoorths/IGA. Eating out in Perth is rather expensive, and the food isn't very good at times at the restaurants. Please remember some supermarkets close early on weekends. Buses/Trains finish early in Perth, so make sure you have alternative travel after hrs.

    • Free public buses circle the town. Rottnest ferry's departure wharf an easy walk and it is much cheaper to go on a Tuesday.

Nearby is Wray Avenue - brilliant for brekky/coffee/cake/fresh fruit and veg. And the other direction just walk straight into Freo for the main cafe strip.
