Bassinthegrass Darwin

You think you know festivals, but you ain’t been to one in the NT! Bassinthegrass scores a new home in 2019, but you can expect the same sick tunes, sweaty bodies and sultry summer nights.

Bassinthegrass Darwin

Angus and Julia Stone. Hermitude. Rüfüs. Hilltop Hoods. The Preatures. The Living End. Peking Duk. And you’d better believe 2019 will blow ‘em all out of the water.

Bassinthegrass has been a banger on the Aussie festival calendar since 2003, but 18 May 2019 sees the day snuggle into its new home on Mindl beach – home to legit the most amazing sunsets in the whole country. You know that twilight time of a festival day when the earlier sets have you pumped, you’ve had a coupl’a bevvies and your fave artist is about to take the stage? This new location will amp that feeling up to 2000 and you’ll never go to another festival again – Bassinthegrass is all you need.

Well, you’ll also need a shower, a bed and a rooftop bar and pool to soak the sins of the festival away in. And, as luck has it, Darwin YHA has all of those things – and it’s a mere stones’ throw away from all the tomfoolery. Yes.

Not too much info has been released about 2019’s iteration, but you can find all we know here, and you’ll probably want to get amongst booking yourself into Darwin YHA here. Ya welcome.
