When and where is Festival X?

Festival X will be hitting the three major east coast cities this year - Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne.

  • Friday 29 November – Brisbane Showgrounds – tickets here
  • Saturday 30 November – Sydney Showgrounds – tickets here
  • Sunday 1 December – Melbourne Showgrounds – tickets here

Note that some artists will not be playing Brisbane - so make sure you check first to avoid disappointment.

Where to stay for Festival X?

Every festival pundit knows how quickly your happy bubble can burst, once it's time to endure the mass exodus from the grounds and then the glitter-clad, sweaty crowds on public transport. It's even worse if you've come a long, long way to see your faves and all you want is your bed!

That's where we come in - with YHAs in all three cities super close to the action. So whether you're visiting from out of town or you just want an easy place to crash, why not stay the night - or the whole damn weekend - with us?!

Book out a multi-share room with all your pals and enjoy an extended slumber party, or book a luxe private room where you can snuggle with your special person afterwards. Whatever your needs are, we've got a comfy, affordable and conveniently located bed for you.

Enjoy pre-drinks with a view on Sydney Harbour YHA's incredible rooftop or take on the Melbourne nightlife post-festival, knowing your bed at Melbourne Central YHA/Melbourne Metro YHA isn't far away.

You can also enjoy a relaxing recovery The Morning After at Brisbane City YHA with brekky in the sunshine, followed by a soak in the sparkling blue rooftop pool.

Beer pong and making new friends pre-festival at Sydney Harbour YHA? Yes please!

So, what now?

Once you have your Festival X tickets sorted, book your YHA bed toot sweet!

Spend less on your accommodation and transport home, and more on those overpriced festival bevs we all hate ourselves for buying, but always do anyway.

Be sure to get in quick, though - it's going to be another dazzling summer in the Land Down Under and our beds won't hang around for too long.

So get everything sorted ASAP and start practising your best dance moves/elbowing technique for pushing your way to the front of the mosh for Calvin Harris.

See you when we're looking at you...
