Just because you’re not in Europe doesn’t mean you have to miss out on Oktoberfest! Brisbane is hosting Australia’s biggest and best German festival this October and there’s two jam packed weekends giving you double the beer, bratwurst and schnitzels.
From the 5-7 and 12-14 October the Brisbane showgrounds will transform into an Oktoberfest extravaganza like no other, so don your Dirndl or Lederhosen and experience the Baviarian culture first hand!
Whether you're a foodie or just keen to have a good time with your mates there's tonnes to get involved with - the tasty beer in the beer halls, delicious German food, traditional music and non-stop festivities, plus all the exciting rides that will take you straight back to your childhood.
The festival opens at 4pm until midnight each Friday so you can easily pop on over after work for a cheeky beer and schnitzel, before backing it up from 11am and on both Saturday and Sunday.
