Phillip Island Whale Festival

When you think of Phillip Island, what springs to mind? Do the adorable penguins pop straight into your thoughts? Well, of course, the lil’ cuties do but how about whales? That’s right, it’s almost time to take to Phillip Island and celebrate annual whale season – and we’re beyond excited!

From Friday, July 5 to Sunday, July 7, join the whale festival on the island that sees humpback whales, southern right whales and even the chance of seeing a pod of killer whales start to arrive in the coastal waters.

The three days will be jam-packed with something for everyone (so bring the whole fam bam along), and the best bit is that most activities are free or low cost right across the island for the whole weekend! What’s not to love?! Take the opportunity while your there to do some whale spotting either by sea or on land – the choice is yours.
