Tamworth Country Music Festival, year 48 looks good on ya! Don your cowboy boots and hat, because the Festival is coming in (really) hot from 17– 26 January, 2020!

With Aussie Country legends like Lee Kernaghan, Troy Cassar-Daley and Paul Kelly locked in to perform, it's time to pack your akubra and hit the road! There's tonnes of hyper-talented groups and individuals up for the top-gong in Golden Guitar form, and literally hundreds of sunshine and sun-down activities – add in that 70% of those events are free,  this is the way you want to start your year.

Wait for it – there’s icing to go on top of this already delectable cake (if you can handle it!). Our very own Tamworth YHA is smack-bang in the middle of all the action! With temperatures pegged to reach 40 degrees most days, you’re going to want a cool room, a colder shower and an ice-cold beer waiting for you on those steamy, sticky afternoons! Plus, a real bed never goes astray.

Don’t forget to pop by the Big Guitar to round out the country experience and grab the crew to book a whole room to call first dibs on the best beds in town.

Festival information and tickets can be found here.  Tamworth YHA can be booked here.
