Thredbo has something to offer skiers of all ages and ability, from the yellow and green runs reserved for beginners just finding their feet, to the web of blue and black runs ready to entertain intermediate and advanced skiers.
Two-thirds of the mountain, including the Cruiser, Basin and Central Spur areas cater to intermediates, whilst experienced skiers can sink their teeth into the ‘Big Five’, Australia’s five longest runs as well as miles of backcountry terrain peppered with natural features and off-piste challenges.
Snowboarders can also rip into the huge variety of terrain parks, starting with the Easy Does It Park introducing the kids to rollers, berms, boxes and small jumps.
The Cruiser Park is the place for beginners to start jumping and jibbing, the Antons Park, Antons Jib Line, the early-season Kozzie Park and the two Rider cross courses loaded with banks, beams, jumps and rollers for intermediate and advanced boarders to show off their skills.
Ski and Boarding Events: for any skiers and boarders keen to scratch their competitive itch, the Annual Thredbo Snow Series (June 29) is back this year with two new categories: extra junior and grommet, the fourth annual Jye’s Jam (July 22) and Thredbo Masters 2020 (July 24-25) are amongst many of the epic Thredbo events dragging the world’s best to our fair mountain!

Thredbo Social Events: the slopes are open and sips are aplenty, with the après ski parties (July 4, August 1 & September 12), Mumm Après Sessions (July 9-19), Lawski (July 30 – August 1), the classic full moon party happening regularly between June 6 – October 3 and plenty more!
