  • 26-27 Jan – Australia Day on Kozzie

Celebrate Aussie Day and your long weekend at the highest point in Australia, on top of Mt Kosciusko. Round up the troops and head to Thredbo for an exciting line up of iconic Aussie entertainment, fun-filled activities and an unforgettable day!

  • 8-9 Feb - Kosciuszko Craft Beer Festival

Get amongst all that is craft beer brewing at the Kosciuszko Craft Beer Festival. Forget ya good ol’ golden ticket and get yourself a ‘Craft Beer Festival’ ticket to the latest and greatest craft beer brewing bonanza. PLUS, if you’re super keen, get amongst the ‘Ales and Tales Degustation Dinner’ – with a five-course menu, each coupled with a matching beer and the glorious mountain as your backdrop!

  • 8-10 Feb – Snowies MTB Festival

Three days, six stages, and over 100km of rugged mountain terrain just waiting to be dominated; there’s a reason this is one of Australia’s most iconic mountain bike stage races. Remember to ride boldly and never fear the spills… this is one epic mountain bike fest that only the Snowies can deliver!

  • 16-17 Feb – Gravity Girls Retreat

Gravity Girls are returning again in 2019! The best female mountain bike instructors have joined forces to provide you with a huge schedule of riding, skill sessions, yoga and social events. The girl’s only retreat is a great way to meet other riders and build confidence on the mountain, as well as throwing a little relaxing and socialising time into the mix!

  • 23-24 Feb – Thredbo Super Enduro

Thredbo Super Enduro is in its third annual year, showcasing the diverse terrain on offer in the Thredbo Mountain Bike Park. Riders are able to compete either individually or in a team with the challenge of racing all three gravity trails in just five hours! The Enduro is not for the fainthearted and promises to leave only the most skilled riders on top.

  • 8-10 March – Conquer Kozzie RUOK?

A spectacular 18km walk full of fresh alpine air all the way to the summit of Mt Kosciuszko, whilst helping raise much-needed funds and awareness for R U OK?  This weekend is guaranteed to be one of deep connection, deep breathing and deep hamstring work. Register HERE.

  • 14-17 March – Australian Mountain Biking Interschool’s

Taking place over four days the 2019 Australian MTB Interschool’s aims to evoke the younger generation’s interest in competitive biking. Over the course of the event future stars will be immersed in a range of disciplines including Cross Country, Downhill, Flow, Pump Track and an exciting XC Team Relay. Essentially, you’ll get to watch some future young guns battle it out in a supportive, super fun atmosphere!

  • 23 March – Australian Alpine Ascent Triathlon

Calling all endurance athletes! The Australian Alpine Ascent Festival consists of the world’s most gruelling set of single day challenges held within daylight hours. The festival involves two trail runs 25km and 50km. To make a long story short - it’s a tough gig but it’s beautiful and the courses have been specifically designed to showcase the very best of the Snowies along the way!

  • 30-31 March – Rocky Trail NSW State Series

RockyTrail Entertainment will bring NSW’s best riders together for a huge weekend of rollercoaster and downhill riding. Saturday sees the enduro specialists battle on the Kosciuszko Flow Trail before the downhill masters tackle the Cannonball Downhill on Sunday. The weekend will end with a BANG at Schuss Bar with an MTB part-ay and a bike giveaway!

  • 13-27 April – Easter School Holiday Adventure Festival

This two week period is chock-a-block with mountains of family fun. Get it? Mountains? They’ll be plenty to do for the entire family including bobsleds, slacklining, treasure hunts, skate park workshops, mountain bike track sessions, arts and craft, rock climbing, face painting – you’ll struggle to keep up.

  • 8-10 June – Winter 2019 Opening Weekend

Kick off Winter 2019 in style at Thredbo! The slopes are open and sips are aplenty – they’ve got long lunches, live entertainment and kids’ activities for days. Winter is here peeps! Who’s keen for first laps?

  • 1-19 July – July Kids Snow Festival

There’s something for everyone these school holidays, with on and off-mountain activities, skiing, snowboarding and trampolining by day, movie nights, pizza, flare runs and night skiing by evening – and of course lots of Après for the parents!

  • 14 July – Torah Bright Mini Shred

Calling all mini-shredders! The ‘Torah Bright Mini Shred' at Thredbo is happening again this season and is going to be bigger and better than ever before. Who better to teach the tricks of the trade than Olympic Gold Medalist Torah Bright and an all-star line-up of Australian Olympians and legends?

  • 16-20 July – Travelplan Ski – Sydney Interschool’s Championships

Brace yourself for the Sydney Interschool Championships! Over the course of five days, Thredbo hosts schools from all over Sydney bringing together their best snow sports team to compete in 6 disciplines. Who's gonna be the 2019 NSW State Championships? You’ll have to venture down and see!

  • 20 July – Poolside Après Party

Turn on the beer taps… the Poolside Après Party has arrived! Slide off the slopes and into the most vintage neon kit you can find – the fire is burning, the hot tub is bubbling and it’s time to party.

  • 22-26 July – Thredbo Uni Week

Right before you knuckle down for the rest of the semester, ditch the textbooks and study notes for another few days and pick up a drink and some skis! Uni students score discounted lift passes and have a bloody fun time ahead of them.

  • 24 July – Jye’s Jam

Where else would you get a chance to hang with some of the most talented boarders in the world? Back for its fourth year, Thredbo ambassador Jye Kearney has handpicked the best riders in the Southern Hemisphere to compete in a 1.5-hour jam session.

  • 25 July – Christmas in July

Dreaming of a white Christmas in Thredbo? Long lunches, presents and a cheeky man in a very red suit - ditch the Southern Hemisphere for a day and join us for a glass of eggnog in true Thredbo style. Santa will be giving out warm Chrissy cookies throughout the day on the mountain and come meet the big man himself on Friday from 3:30pm – 4:30pm to get a quality snap for the mantelpiece!    

  • 26–27 July – Thredbo Masters 2019

It’s time for those 30+ folk to slither into their race suit and take to the slopes with the hope of being crowned ‘The 2019 Master of Thredbo’. Come and check out the action as competitor’s battle it out for a spot on the podium.

  • 1-3 Aug – Lawski

It’s the time of year that lawyers love the most! Back for its 19th year, LAWSKI brings together the top law firms over a love of POW! Boasting five social events and the pinnacle Ski and Snowboard Race, this event is guilty of fun. Get it? Guilty?

  • 25-29 Aug – Australian University Games

The Australian Snow University Games are once again back in Thredbo with Australia’s top snow uni students competing for the overall title of the best University. The top uni gets some serious bragging rights… just don’t let the partying hinder your game plan.

  • 30-31 Aug – Snowtunes Music Festival

Snowtunes Music Festival – the Southern Hemisphere’s biggest snow music festival is hitting Thredbo once again! Now entering its fifth year, grab your beanie and get ready to hit the slopes for a fresh festival getaway.

  • 22 Sep – 6 Oct - Kids Snow Festival

All the fun of July with the springtime wonder only September affords! There’s something on offer for everyone these school holidays at Thredbo. Boasting a huge line-up of free activities and of course, plenty of Après for Mums and Dads.
