Calling all rugby fans and footy lovers! A brand new sporting event is coming to Brisbane and you won’t want to miss it.
Thousands of fans from across Australia will flood Suncorp Stadium on Saturday 9 and Sunday 10 February 2018 to see some of the world’s finest rugby players compete in a shortened form of the game – only ten players per side playing ten minutes per half in a pulsating knock out tournament that promises two days of rugby heaven.
The inaugural Global Tens event will feature ten professional teams from six countries including top Australian and Kiwi Super Rugby teams, Japan’s Panasonic Wild Knights, Selection Palioise from the South of France and the Fijian international team, attracting world-class stars like Israel Folau and Karmichael Hunt to Brisbane.
Delivering 16 hours and 28 matches of fast-paced, action-packed rugby, this two day event will provide some of the best sports entertainment ever to grace the Suncorp Stadium turf – and in the lead up to the mega event, the city of Brisbane will come alive with a week-long festival of rugby featuring a public ‘Fanzone’ event on the Friday, community and local club meet and greets, and loads of chances to rub shoulders with your favourite players.
So whether you are a footy fanatic or just looking for a fun day out with your mates, add the Brisbane Global Tens to your calendar. Hit up Ticketek for tickets, with two-day passes starting from as little as $69.
