Your first assignment of the year: register your school for the 2019 National Day of Action against Bullying and Violence.
Friday 15 March 2019 sees Australian schools unites in their contemporary communities and as a national force, celebrating the eighth National Day of Action against Bullying and Violence (NDA).
This day of action is our country’s key anti-bullying event. 2018 saw over 840, 965 students from 1810 schools around the nation register and participate; all with the imagination and intention of a world free of bullying.
Once registered, schools are equipped with comprehensive materials and resources to ensure the younger generations are being educated as effectively as possible around this inherent issue. It doesn’t stop at education, though – these achievable big ideas are something to be celebrated! Past years have seen schools implement pledge walls, school assembly presentations, buddy mentoring, fancy dress days, collaborative creative projects and talent quests to mark the day. How will you and your school celebrate this year?
