In its almost 200-year history, the Sydney Royal Easter Show has been cancelled on just three occasions, sadly most recently in 2020. This year it makes its triumphant return (with few changes), just in time for families to get in some well-earned Easter fun! There'll be an animal nursery, rabbit hopping competition, carnival games and rides, stage performances, the Easter Basket Scramble and even showbags! This pair of events by Sydney Living Museums will look to capture the magic of Easter as a child with a slew of ‘egg-cellent’ Easter-themed activities. The main event is a big Lindt-sponsored egg hunt, but there'll also be egg-rolling, egg-and-spoon racing, hot cross bun making and plenty more for kids and families to sink their teeth into. Bring a picnic and join in the fun!

If you're seeking something that the grown ups can enjoy too this Easter, Mosman's Easter Feast Night Market should fit the bill. A special edition of the regular Mosman markets, Easter will see Mosman's Village Green adorned with fairy lights for a special evening of boutique stalls, delicious food and drink and Easter treats in abundance!

The Blue Mountains are action packed these Easter Holidays. For adventures among the trees, check out Katoomba Falls Reserve Night-lit Walk at night and Sculpture At Scenic World (1 Apr - 2 May 2021) during the day. Head up to Blue Mountains YHA on Easter Saturday for a free guided bushwalking tour (bookings essential) before warming your feet by the open fire. There's also mushroom picking tours and the Field to Forest Festival in Oberon throughout April.
