Get paid to do the NT with your school group!

The Northern Territory is as diverse, historical and gorgeous as she is expensive. The folks at Tourism NT are passionate about school groups (Years 6 – 12) experiencing the majesty of their state, so they’ve launched the Save and Learn program which sees schools receive up to $1000 towards their NT trips.

From rich WWII history in Darwin, massive and magical national parks brimming with waterfalls to be discovered in Kakadu, to the big red rock bang smack in the heart of the country; this is an excursion your students will not forget – and neither will you. From wherever you hail, Central Australia is a humbling and awe-inspiring experience and opens your mind to the wonders of years, land and people past.

Fancy it? Once you’ve filled out your application form, you should of course get in touch with Darwin YHA or Alice Springs YHA, whose dedicated Groups Coordinators will go to any length to ensure your groups’ trip is almost too easy – accommodation, catering and itinerary planning; all sorted.

Heading to Darwin? Students’ highlights is Croc Cove, every time. Are you central-Australia bound? You’d be foolish not to witness the Field of Light at Uluru; recently renewed until 2020. The moon rises, silhouetting Uluru and giving life to 50 000 spindles of light -genuinely one of the most spine-tingling things you'll ever witness.

See you in the NT!
