Ultimate Frisbee World Championships, Perth

Introducing the most exciting sport you’ve probably never heard of – and some of the world’s finest exponents are coming to Perth.

Imagine a mixture of Aussie rules, netball and touch football… played with a Frisbee. It’s the largest sport in the university sector. It’s Australia’s fastest growing sport, with an estimated 20,000 players. It’s knocking on the door of Olympic inclusion. And the world’s best young players are strutting their stuff in Perth this January.

From January 7-13 at UWA Sports Park, Mt Claremont, the WFDF 2018 Under 24 World Ultimate Championships will thrill crowds with extraordinary speed, agility and endurance.

Following previous hosts Florence (2010), Toronto (2013) and London (2015), Perth plays host to 1500 athletes from 43 teams representing 22 countries, including 16 men’s teams and 11 women’s teams.

Check out all the action and stay at Perth City YHA, right in the heart of the city, with multi-share, twin/double and family rooms starting at just $26 a night.
