    Take a step back in time with a visit to this YHA hostel located in a charming former Edwardian guesthouse. Spacious verandah to sit on and relax during the warmer months, whilst in winter curl up in front of the log fire in the comfy lounge. 

    Well-equipped kitchen makes it a great hostel for groups. There are large grounds with trees and gardens and it's only a short walk to the village and national park from the hostel. Reduced morning reception in quiet periods. Late/early check in by prior arrangement. Bundanoon YHA provides all bed linen and free Wi-Fi hotspot (premium Wi-Fi Plus also available). Guests provide their own towels and toiletries.

    Family Rooms: For family room rate there must be at least one child under 18 and 1-2 adults, otherwise this special room rate will be adjusted to the usual adult prices with the difference payable on arrival.

    Things to do in Bundanoon

    Bundanoon is in the Southern Highlands, less than two hours from Sydney and is the gateway to Morton National Park. From the YHA, check out the Glow Worm Glen, Fairy Bower Waterfall, rainforest and historic coal mine. Cycle around town or visit the forest monks at Sunnataram Buddhist Monastery. Explore Bungonia Caves or join in the local nightlife at Bundanoon Hotel.

    FREE things to do in Bundanoon
    1. Night time walk to the Glow Worm Glenn. See the insects that glow in the dark, and maybe trip over a wombat!

    2. Bushwalk from the hostel directly into the Morton National Park. Tracks graded from easy to hard, 1-5 hours in lengths.
